BENTON, Ill. (WJPF) — A Benton woman was injured after an oxygen tank explosion and house fire Saturday.

It happened around 7:30 a.m. in the 100 block of East Smith Street.

Emergency crews arriving at the scene found the woman lying on the sidewalk outside the home. She was taken to a local hospital.

The State Fire Marshal is now investigating.
