HERRIN, Ill. (WJPF) — Herrin is the latest community to allow the sale of adult-use recreational marijuana.

The Herrin City Council amended an ordinance to allow sales at their meeting Monday night.

Also at that meeting, the council okayed the sale of City Lake #2. The property will be put on the market for $1.2 million.
