MURPHYSBORO, Ill. (WJPF) — An Anna man has been sentenced to four years behind bars for smuggling meth into the Jackson County Jail.

Prosecutors say on July 9, 2020 Troy Guynn, 43, was booked into the jail on an existing Union County warrant and snuck a small baggie of meth into the jail.

Three days later, Guynn ingested some of the illegal drugs causing him to panic inside his cell.
