WEST FRANKFORT, Ill. (WJPF) — The State Fire Marshall is investigating after a vacant home burned, damaging two more in the process.

The home on East Lindell Street in West Frankfort was scheduled to be torn down late this week or early next week. Electricity and gas going into the home had been turned off.

Neighboring homes were occupied at the time of the fire, but no injuries were reported.
