CARBONDALE, IL. (WJPF) — Carbondale Police are investigating after a food delivery driver was held up at gunpoint by a pair of women.

It happened around 9:40 PM Sunday in the 300 Block of East Lynda Drive.

Police say that one of the women hit the victim while the other pulled a gun and demanded money. The suspects, described by Carbondale Police only as black women, ran on foot on East Dorthella Street.

The delivery driver suffered minor injuries but declined medical treatment.
