Former Franklin County treasurer John Gulley has been appointed to serve on the Franklin County Board.

Gulley was appointed Tuesday by County Chairman Randall Crocker to replace Tom Vaughn, who resigned.

Gulley, comptroller at Rend Lake College, served as the county’s treasurer for 11 years.
