During his state of the State of the State Address Wednesday, Governor Bruce Rauner outlined his plan to bring economic prosperity back to Illinois.

In his speech, governor rauner reiterated his call for property tax relief, term limits and a roll back of last year’s income tax increase. After the address, Senator Dale Fowler agreed, saying many of the ideas the governor presented were common sense.

Governor Rauner also says he’s signing an executive order to improve the process for reporting sexual misconduct and wants to reduce opioid overdose deaths by one third in the coming years.
