Back in December, my husband & I were in Orlando, FL for the Eukanuba Dog

Show where we both competed in the National Owner-Handled Series Finals.

Neither of us won. But as we were coming out of the ring we were approached

by a guy with a huge camera. He asked if we’d be interested in letting his crew

from FIDO TV shoot some footage of us with our dogs. Outside. We were game.

We gathered up our flock of Cotons & followed FIDO TV to the location. I was

carrying Neiko like you’d carry a baby on your hip. Little did I know his hind legs

were pushing the elastic in my skirt down……..very far down. Normally I would

have been able to feel my skirt falling, but the Spanx I was wearing were so tight, I

couldn’t feel anything. Until a huge gust of wind blew & I realized my rear was

exposed. OMG! In the broad daylight, outside the Orange County Convention

Center my skirt was practically to my knees! Thank goodness the film crew was in

front of us. That is one of those moments I will never forget.

Did I mention this was in Orlando in December and we were dressed for

December in Illinois? It was well into the 80’s, a beautiful, hot, sunny day. We

both had wool jackets on with long sleeves underneath & of course I had a

turtleneck on. By the time we walked to the shoot location carrying our dogs we

were both drenched with sweat & looked more like we should be in a Survivor:

Sahara Desert episode than anything else.

The crew from FIDO TV was wonderful to work with and from what I hear, our

B roll footage made the cut in the debut of “Which Woof’s for You” which

premiers April 21st on FIDO TV available on the Dish network. The premise of the

show is to feature different breeds every episode & give you information about

each breed to help you determine if that breed would be a good fit for your

family. If you happen to watch it & see Kent & me, you’ll have a little bit of the

back story of how we stumbled into that!
