Carterville High School presents "The Music Man"



The Carterville High School in Carterville, IL is putting on the classic Broadway show “The Music Man” in the CHS auditorium at 7:00 pm nightly the weekend of April 4-5 .There are so many talented performers at CHS that a dual cast for many of the main roles have been chosen. Directing the production is Lauren Arnett, and directing the pit orchestra is Dannyel Norrington. If you have not had a chance to see Bleyer auditorium with its 750 seats, you are in for quite a show. Just walking in is a breathtaking experience. More than 100 CHS students are involved in this classic production, and there are children from all the schools in the Carterville school district who also have roles in this production. Tickets will be on sale the evening of the performances and before, starting March 20 at the CHS office during the regular school hours. The evening box office will open at 6:00 pm. Mark it on your calendars….come see both the Friday and Saturday performances…you won’t be sorry you did! For more information, please call 985-2940.
